Vitamin
A maintains the sexual hormone function in men and
women and keeps skin from becoming dry and itchy. It's also good for men's
sperm.
B complex increases the levels of testosterone,
the fuel of the sex drive, in both men and women. It keeps the thyroid, nervous
system and adrenal glands content.
Vitamin C keeps the skin smooth and supple,
helps prevent miscarriages, keeps sperm from clinging together in immobile
clusters, and enables you to enjoy more intense, longer-lasting orgasms. Recent
studies suggest that vitamin C should be taken as a part of a multi-vitamin
and not independently.
Vitamin E helps the blood carry energizing
oxygen, prevents cells from oxidizing, nourishes the pituitary gland, offsets
the loss of estrogen in post-menopausal women and keeps testosterone from
breaking down in men. Nuts, seeds, whole grains, fruits and vegetables are
all good sources for Vitamin E.
Zinc is essential for the production of testosterone.
Low levels may reduce your sperm count, potency, sex drive and long-term sexual
health. Insufficient zinc in women may cause dryness of the vagina. |
